Two 500cc twin-cylinder BSAs separated by nearly a decade in age enduring the damp conditions.
A 1953 plunger sprung A7 leads a 1962 A7 Shooting Star heading towards the breakfast stop at The Pavilion in the Park at Okehampton.

Despite the weather, we had a total of 80 riders on on the 2023 run.

 

The proceeds from the run were split as follows:

The Lord Mayor of Exeter's Charity, Force Cancer Charity £330.
Okehampton Community and Recreation Association £165.
Princetown Community Centre £165.

The next Dartmoor Run is scheduled for Sunday 28th of July 2024.*
Entries from 09:00. Riders depart at 10:00.

 

This is a run of approximately 90 miles. We ride out from Exeter Quay
(EX2 4AN) taking in some of the most beautiful parts of Devon,
including a spectacular ride over the high moors of Dartmoor, before
returning to the Quay. There will be a lunch stop en-route.

*Rider Safety & Adverse Weather – the run will not proceed if there are any Met Office Amber or Red warnings in place for the area covered by the run, i.e. Exeter, Crediton, Okehampton, Tavistock and Dartmoor. If there are any Yellow warnings the decision to proceed or cancel will be taken by 12:00 on the day before the run. If in doubt please check the Club's website.
